Vidyalaya has 187 students enrolled in this pioneering movement and Eight trained teachers motivating and guiding them.
Our Vidyalaya has been a house of a dedicated lot of scouts and guides, cubs and bulbuls. The Vidyalaya takes keen enthusiasm and zeal in conducting and successfully completing the activities organized by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Registration forms for the year 2011-12 have been dispatched to The Divisional commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides, Hyderabad Division
Total Number of Students registered is:
a) Bulbuls – 28
b) Guides – 38
c) Cubs – 63
d) Scouts – 58
Total – 187
Formalities for issue of warrants to the scouts, guides, cubs and bulbuls are completed.
Two (Troops) one of Scouts & Guide is registered for Prime Minister Shield competition.
One hour activities, after the School, every Wednesday will be conducted as per the instruction of the Head of the institution.

NEWS
1. Drawing and Painting competition under Fire Safety Week was conducted by the Air Force Station, Hakimpet. Students of KV Hakimpet won many prizes in all the three categories.
2. Health quiz – Story about scratch for health, was conducted in all the three category viz. Cat – I, classes five to seven; Cat – II, Classes Eight to Nine; and Cat – III, classes Tenth to twelve. Winners of this level competition would be eligible for competing at next level, i.e. at the city level.
3. DwityaSopan/chaturth charan/heerakh pankh testing camp was conducted. 48 Scouts, Guides, Cubs and bulbuls participated and successfully completed the testing camp held at the Vidyalaya.
